Now that Chris Christie has declared his desire to become president and will be working day and night to achieve that personal dream, it’s time for him to step aside and let someone who is committed to New Jersey do the hard work of beginning to rebuild our great state. He has a right to pursue his political ambition as far as it will carry him. But he has an obligation to leave the state of New Jersey in the hands of someone whose entire passion, attention and commitment are here. It’s time for Chris Christie to resign.
